vortex-cover-5Dang, is it April already?

So, this past few weeks time and attention has been dominated with moving into a new apartment. This is pushing my schedule for new Ellie Connelly pages off a bit, unfortunately. It’s an ongoing process, we’re still moving stuff over from the old place, and don’t yet have internet hooked up at the new place. Everything should be resolved in the next week (or two, worst case scenario). I did manage to squeeze in a few hours to put together a full-color version of the cover for Chapter 5 (Preview available exclusively for my Patreon supporters!), but not much else.

I still have a timeline to completing Chapter 5, though! My goal is to have the chapter complete and printed in time for the Artist Alley Comic Fest in August. So, that gives me about 17 weeks to get it finished. If I can hit a goal of 1 page a week I should still be in good shape to hit that deadline. I’ll be continuing to post the new pages here at Lunarbistro, but my Patreon supporters will be getting them a day or two early. Ideally I’ll be able to get into a habit, and hit a regular weekly posting schedule. It’s been a long time since I’ve even tried to do that, but hey, I’m an optimist!

My plan to continue working on Chapter One pages in the meantime has fallen by the wayside in favor of having a new chapter out in time for the August show. If I can get far enough ahead of schedule, though, I’ll be jumping back into redoing those older pages as well.

I’m also looking for other small conventions to exhibit at. Something that wouldn’t take me too far out of town, preferably a 1-day Sunday show within easy driving distance of PDX. We’ll see what I can find. If you’d like me to come to your town, let me know of a show, or a shop I can do a signing at and we’ll see what we can do!

Alright, back to packing!
