Patreon Reward Changes
Hey, all: Just a heads-up that I’ve changed the pricing structure on the Patreon rewards. Everything’s gone up a little bit, but I’ve tried to keep the prices in-line with the rewards you’re getting and the amount of work that goes into producing them.
NOTE: Your pledge on Patreon is based on a support level, not a dollar amount, so your pledge was automatically increased by Patreon to match these new prices. Please feel free to modify your pledge to the level you feel most comfortable with!
Here’s the details on the new levels:
The Process Feed tier has been bumped up to $2 per Chapter, making room for the new $1 Early Access pledge. This new level gives supporters access to the finished pages before they go live on Lunarbistro.com, but includes only the finished pages. Perfect if you want to continue to follow the work, but don’t want to keep getting 3 or 4 update emails a day when I’m working.
The Digital Rewards tier is now $5, which bumps the Printed Comic pledge up to $8. This pricing more accurately reflects the costs of materials and time in laying out the various files needed to publish these. This also will allow me to use sturdier envelopes for shipping the print comics, as well as the related increase in postage. The price also includes all of the smaller support tiers as well.
I’ve also created an International Print Comics tier, which includes an extra $2 for international shipping, to help simplify that process for patrons.
The Custom Art tiers (sketchcard and Fan-Art portrait) have been combined into one single reward level at $25, with the option to choose which of the two types of art you’d like. And the Original Page tier hasn’t changed at all.
Please keep in mind, when you support LunarBistro at any tier you’ll only be charged when a chapter is completed, which so far has only happened three times since I started this campaign a couple years ago. So, I think that considering the amount of material you’re getting in each chapter, any of these prices are still a great deal. I thank you as always for your continued support, and I hope you’re looking forward to future chapters as much as I am!
