My decades-old abstract strategy board game YIORA has just been updated over at TheGameCrafter.com! This new edition includes repositionable Throne chits (an upgrade from the static thrones of earlier editions), custom-designed chits to denote a Promoted piece, a full-color 8-page rules booklet and new box art! If you haven’t picked this one up before, this is probably the best edition I’ve ever made of this game. When I publish the YIORA: Variations set later this year, it will be built around this edition of the full set.
A goofy little 8-page minicomic I did. I started with the joke of the cover, and just built from there.
War of the Worlds: The First Folio has just been posted to Gumroad.com as a DRM-free pdf file, usable on many e-readers, for the pay-what-you-will price of only $.99+!
The download includes two files: The first collects the first six War of the Worlds illustrations in both stark black-and-white AND in photographic full-color reproductions; and the second is a companion booklet which will be included with the print folio, presenting the images alongside snippets of text from the novel by H.G. Wells.
Go download it now!
Pac-Man the Barbarian, 2015
Pen & Ink on Bristol, 8.5×6.5
Had this idea the other day and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head, so I had to just sit down and draw the cover already. What if the Pac-Man video game were based on a previously-existing property, where Pac-Man is a He-Man/Conan character, and the maze is some sort of divine test he’s being put through? I’d like to complete the rest of the comic someday, but for now the cover is enough.
